Now, I was sick for 6 days and payday was just a couple of days ago and if you know me, you know I was in Ulta trying out some new products and getting some retail therapy for a crap week. I’ve been wearing/using these products for a couple of days and I’m ready to share them!
- Becca Ultimate Coverage Foundation(Tan) – $44.00
I watched a couple of Youtube videos on this foundation and found it to be an extremely underrated foundation for its full coverage abilities. With over 20 shades, I’d be astonished if a person can’t find their shade. Trust me, this is definitely a full coverage foundation. I can attest to that. I tested this foundation out not only with a Beauty Blender but also with Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. It’s worth every penny and I’d highly recommend it. Every day it grows on me and gives you that airbrushed feeling by being full coverage but a lightweight foundation.
2. Real Techniques Powder Brush – $9.99
Every girl needs a good powder brush and this brush is no exception. Not only does it do a good job picking up the product, but it also does a good job evenly dispersing the product. I’d highly recommend it to anyone in need of a powder brush. It does a good job and it’s not terribly expensive for a brush.
3. Nyx Eyebrow Powder Pencil(Ash Brown)- $6.49
I was never really one to fill in my brows. I’ve also been blessed with pretty good statement brows. However, I decided to try my hand at playing with mine and making them bolder than they already are. I was strangely surprised at how easy it actually is to fill in my brows and outline them to make them bolder. I’d highly recommend this pencil whether you’re a beginner or a brow expert. I am definitely a beginner in the brow department and was able to exceed with this pencil. It also helped that there was a spool to mix the parts that were filled in with my natural hairs.
4. Cover FX Pressed Mineral Foundation(N40) -$36.00
With a full coverage foundation comes a setting powder. I decided to find a new setting powder and I fell in love with this one. Not only because it does a good job setting my makeup, but also because it adds an extra layer of coverage on top of the foundation. Due to that, if you’re going for a very natural look, it’s possible to just wear this foundation and since it’s made of minerals, it wouldn’t be terrible for the skin. So it’s a double duty product and I’m all about multiple uses for a product.
5. Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara – $5.99
I am someone who has long lashes as it is. So, I don’t really venture into falsies and instead, I invest in eyelash curlers and mascaras. I love this clear mascara to put on my eyelashes before my mascara. It’s a great way to prime my eyelashes but still looks incredibly natural.
